During their first year of marriage, Micah and Kelsey went on a missions trip together in 2009 to Guatemala with their church. After arriving home, Micah remembers Kelsey saying, "I could do this kind of thing every day!" Little did they both know that God had already begun planting seeds and preparing them for an extraordinary calling!

The following year, Micah graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in Corporate Management. He went on to work at 3SAE Technologies in Purchasing and Procurement and then to Tractor Supply Corporate Offices as a Master Data Analyst. In addition to being in business as a portrait and wedding photographer, Kelsey found herself working for several non-profit ministries. She helped pioneer a women's sponsorship program in Kenya and thus traveled to Kenya twice in 2014. Later, she was a Hope Coach for a crisis hotline that spanned across the world and received specific training in human trafficking and crisis counseling.

Micah and Kelsey had also been deeply involved in their home church, Full Life Assembly of God in Franklin, Tennessee. They were involved in worship, nursery, media, video ministries and also as youth and small group leaders.

In 2014, the Holy Spirit spoke to both Micah and Kelsey simultaneously in the middle of a missionary speaking at their church and said, "I want you to go to Italy." They didn't know that the other had also received the same word until after service. Once they realized that God was calling them into a life of missions, they whole-wholeheartedly said yes and began the process with the Assemblies of God World Missions.

The Harrisons moved to Rome, Italy in 2016 with their son Gavin as Missionary Associates to serve over 60 nations that comprise the International Christian Fellowship of Rome for 2 years. While serving there they had their second son, Owen who was born in Rome.

In early 2018 they transitioned to fully appointed career missionaries with AGWM. They served in Sicily from 2020-2023 where they ministered to the refugee and immigrant population. During their time there they also welcomed twin girls, Eden and Ivy in 2021.

The Harrisons are currently Stateside on itineration (as of Fall 2023.)
